The lower weight increases the drive train efficiency. This out drive also fit the front plastic spool drive of Xray T4.
Updated: This version of outdrives uses the 4.0mm blades which greatly increases durability of the blades and therefore will not work with the old 3.5mm blades. You will require #XP-10876.
**Note: If using this part with XQ1 XM1, you need to purchase also the Composite Spool 38T Set #XP-10264
